Henri Degre Helps Secure Our Nation’s Borders

Henri Degre is the GM of product development for Mobile Concepts, a vehicle and trailer manufacturing company located southeast of Pittsburgh, in the state of Pennsylvania. As a former police officer, he is familiar with the various divisions of law enforcement needed to keep the citizens in our country safe, one of which is Border Patrol.

Illegal immigrants threaten to cross our nation’s borders every day, and Mobile Concepts has recently come up with a solution to make securing the nation’s borders more efficient. Henri Degre and his team were appointed the task of repurposing three confiscated trailers into mobile processing and detainment centers. These three tractor trailers will provide the technology needed to help border agents more efficiently manage illegal immigrant invasion. Agents can now process information more quickly. In addition, these tractor trailers can be used in natural disasters or emergency response situations.

Several of the trailers have already been used. The first, completed in the summer of 2009 was initially used on the Florida Coast, as a standby vehicle during that year’s hurricane season. It was later used during the G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh, assisting law enforcement personnel in security management.

Not only is Henri Degre helping to secure our nation’s borders. His projects with Mobile Concepts have helped to boost the economy in the state of Pennsylvania by resolving to use only products made by local U.S. vendors, most of which are located in Pennsylvania.

Henri Degre, with Mobile Concepts, manufactures a variety of vehicles for law enforcement, fire safety and The Department of Homeland Security, including:

  • Breath/Blood Alcohol Testing Vehicles (BAT Mobiles)
  • Community Policing Vehicles
  • SWAT Vehicles
  • Mobile Crime Scene Investigation Labs
  • Hazmat Trailers
  • Sprinter Vehicles
  • And even Animal Rescue/Cruelty Investigation Vehicles

Henri Degre is one of several law enforcement professionals helping to keep our borders, and our nation, safer. Through his work with Mobile Concepts he is making the day to day tasks of police officers, homeland security personnel, firefighters, veterinarians, and even ordinary people like you and me who work in corporate offices – easier and more efficient.
