As a former police officer and as the current GM of product development with Mobile Concepts, Henri Degre is clearly committed to the protection and safety of American citizens. His work with Mobile Concepts has assisted a variety of law enforcement personnel by providing them with vehicles and trailers that make their jobs more efficient and more effective. Beyond working with adults to ensure a safer environment for all people, Henri Degre has made several contributions to indicate his enthusiasm and love for children, as well.
St. Jude’s Hospital Fund
Henri Degre has contributed to St. Jude’s Hospital Research fund for several years. St. Jude’s is the nation’s only cancer hospital and research center committed exclusively to helping children who are suffering with cancer or another terminal illness. It is the only pediatric cancer research center where families never pay for treatment and are never denied treatment because of an inability to pay. The reason for this is that most of the hospital’s funding comes from contributions made by caring and concerned citizens like Henri Degre.
Christian Children’s Fund
Henri Degre has also made several contributions to Christian Children’s Fund – now called ChildFund International. This organization is a child sponsorship nonprofit, which began as an effort to build orphanages for the children who had been left without shelter in the wake of the second Sino-Japanese War. Since its inception, it has grown into a global organization that seeks to create healthy environments for less fortunate children to thrive. Funding is still received through individual child sponsorship, in which Henri Degre has participated on various occasions.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving
Henri Degre helps to keep drunk drivers and underage drinkers off the streets through his work with Mobile Concepts, as he and his team have developed several customized breath/blood alcohol testing vehicles. He also does so through his contributions to Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD). Just like every mom, he wants to keep kids safe by protecting them from the thousands of fatalities that result from drunk driving each year.
SafeKids USA
Henri Degre has also made several contributions to SafeKids USA, a nonprfit organization dedicated to preventing unintentional childhood injuries, which are the leading cause of death in kids aged 1 to 14. This is part of his commitment to the safety of children in America.
